Abstract

In line with the HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-09, they aim to create an environment where entrepreneurs can thrive and entrepreneurship is rewarded. In this context, BV seeks to support entrepreneurs working in the field of decarbonizing mobility with acceleration programs, mentoring, workshops, and commercialization, and contribute to the development of the mobility sector with a skilled workforce.

Description

1. Pre incubation and Incubation Services: Entrepreneurs will be supported through BV s incubation center, which offers 24/7 support including pre-incubation and incubation services, acceleration programs, sales follow-up management, training, financial and legal consultancy, patent consultancy, mentoring, and access to open and closed workspaces with unlimited internet and electricity.
2. Venture Capital Access: Entrepreneurs can utilize the Bilisim Vadisi Venture Capital Investment Fund Management, established in partnership with Vakif Katilim, Albaraka, and KOSGEB, with investment sizes ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000. BV can assist startups in the commercialization process by providing access to market insights and potential investors and facilitating B2B meetings and demo days to connect entrepreneurs with industry leaders and potential customers.
3. Join the Mobility Cluster: New Entrepreneurs from partner countries will have the chance to join BV’s Mobility Cluster’s facilities, focusing on electrical, autonomous, and sustainable mobility solutions. This cluster integrates expertise from the public and private sectors, including large companies, SMEs, universities, government institutions, NGOs, vehicle and component manufacturers, OEMs, and research and testing centers.
4. Partners can participate in mobility workshops open to all stakeholders, BV can organize workshops and mentoring sessions led by industry experts to share knowledge and best practices and focus on reducing emissions and enhancing the impact of sustainable mobility solutions.
5. Mobility Acceleration Programs which support Türkiye s entrepreneurs in developing mobility technologies. This program includes seminars, mentor meetings, national and international mobility industry meetings, and working group sessions, and is organized twice a year. BV can conduct acceleration programs tailored for startups focusing on decarbonizing mobility and provide intensive mentorship and guidance to help startups scale their innovations.
6. Community Building and Networking: BV organizes technology-focused hackathons, workshops, investor meetings, demo days, and strategic events to support tech and deep tech entrepreneurs. These events foster community and collaboration, enabling collective progress by ensuring effective communication of insights and innovations among various stakeholders in the ecosystem. BV can host events, hackathons, and conferences to foster a community of innovators and stakeholders in the mobility sector and encourage the exchange of ideas and collaboration among various players in the ecosystem.
7. Regulatory and Policy Advocacy: BV has a strong relationship with stakeholders such as the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), various chambers of commerce, and industry and universities. BV takes an active role by presenting project findings and recommendations to policymakers and industry leaders. This approach not only shapes future strategies and policies but also contributes to wider societal and economic progress.

Moreover, BV can work on policy advocacy to align with the European Union s long-term goals for zero fatalities and serious injuries by 2050 and can engage with policymakers to create a favorable regulatory environment for the adoption of new mobility technologies.
