Founded in 1966 to produce winding coils, Volt Motor began manufacturing single-phase electric motors in 1987, later expanding to three-phase motors. Since 2011, as part of Saya Holding, Volt Motor has grown its product range to 355 frame sizes and up to 450 kW power within a 45,000 m² facility, employing over 800 people.

Volt Motor is now one of Turkey’s largest electric motor manufacturers. In 2024, a Horizon project and in 2023, a Eureka project were approved for the company, which also houses Europe’s largest accredited(ISO 17025) electric motor laboratory by capacity.

Volt Motor’s innovative R and D has led to the production of premium efficiency class IE3 motors, as well as IE4 and IE5 motors, developed with its own patents. The company continues to expand its international partnerships, especially after becoming an R and D Center in 2021.

In 2017, Volt Motor launched the world’s most efficient motor with its VoltPro series. Committed to environmental responsibility, Volt Motor produces high-quality motors using sustainable and safe methods.

As Volt Motor celebrates its 35th anniversary, it aims to secure a place among Turkey s top 500 industrial companies and expand its exports, particularly to Europe and the Middle East. Guided by TURQUALITY, Volt Motor is steadily progressing toward its 2030 Vision and the mission of creating a “Content Brand” under the Powered by Volt initiative.
