Title

Request from Greece for new technology to purify recycled waste material

Abstract

A Greek SME specialised in recycling rubber wishes to acquire and apply a new technology for the purification of recycled waste material in order to obtain a cleaner carbon paste at the end phase. It is interested in finding a partner that can provide this technology under a commercial agreement with technical assistance.

Description

This Greek SME specialises in the design and manufacture of thermal insulation panels (thermo-panels) made of polyurethane and polypropylene (PPU). It is dedicated to harnessing the power of the sun and creating an energy efficient environment by providing complete photovoltaic packages and energy-saving installations for domestic and industrial sites.
The company is also expanding its activity into the field of recycling rubber and other carbon material, receiving carbon as an end product.
The company has a long story of co-operation with Bulgarian companies, positioned in the recycling sector. But it is interested in setting up new partnerships with SMEs from other countries. It is looking for a commercial agreement with technical assistance with a provider of a technology to purify recycled waste material.
Advantages and innovation
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
The Greek client is looking for a technology (preferably patented) for example using an advanced thermochemical process that chemically recycles carbon molecules contained in waste and purify the recycled waste material in order to obtain a cleaner carbon paste at the end phase. The aim is in part to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil fuel production and landfilling.
